The top is built out of sandwiched 2x4s. with a sacrificial 2×6 board along the length for me to drill into or cut as needed. Then easily replace when it gets too worn out. The frame is 4x4s. The vise in the top pic is a DIY job made of pipe clamps that served surprisingly well until I got the end vise from Rockler. That was when I relearned what I was missing. It has a detachable add-on for a handheld router, which effectively turns it into a router table with a fence. There is also a Dewalt table saw built into the other end, which you can see in the top photo. The top has grommets that allow me to attach/detach a chop saw, planer, and scroll saw. The whole thing is on retractable casters so that I can wheel it out of the way and still park my car in the garage.Youtube Vid of its construction
