Grill Cart

January 26, 2021 by jdviz Leave a Comment

Here’s the grill cart I designed and built to go with my Weber Summit Charcoal.

There are two kinds of Weber Summit Charcoals, a plain one and one with a built-in side table. The one with the table costs an extra $500 and isn’t actually that big. Therefore I chose to take that extra cash and make my own cart.

The top is cedar, with a pine base. I use buffet steaming trays for drawers, 3 shelves, and adequate space for two charcoal bins. The outside has hooks for tools, two rolls for butcher paper and foil, and a retractable table. The whole thing is on wheels and moves like a wheelbarrow. It’s a beautiful cart and works amazingly well.
